Stamping all Weekend

I have had a very productive weekend of Stamping, I am going to an Occations mini swap on Tuesday so I needed to get all of those cards stamped, I also decided to catch up a little on my scrapbooking which I have been seriously neglecting. I really cannot wait to see Stampin' Up's new digital scrapbooking software due out later this year, I really want to see how digital works.
I will be showing some of my scrapbook pages this week.

Here is another cute card I made this weekend. This uses another new set "And Many Mower" from the occations mini which you can order from beginning April 1st. I could'nt wait to use it to make a Fathers Day card for my Dad, he is going to love it.

New Occasions Mini "A Great Friend"

Look what came on Friday, this really cute new set from the new Stampin' Up occations mini catalog that begins on April 1st. This set reminded me of Spring and how I can't wait for Spring to arrive here in Illinois. See the recipe below.

Chick in a Blue Egg

Tonight I used A good egg set and made yet another easter card. I used lots of layers of delicate dots DSP, available only during Sale-a-Bration. I stamped the chick on WW and then stamped the chick again on a piece of so saffron and then cut it out. I stamped the egg on a piece of bashful blue delicate dots and used a dimentional to pop up the egg on the bottom of the chick, so cute.

Easter Garden Whimsy

Today I used my Garden Whimsy set to make this cute tulip easter card. I started with a Cameo Coral Base and added a piece of Raspberry Tart DSP, then I cut two strips of WW using the eyelet border punch. I matted a piece of WW CS on a piece of Kiwi Kiss CS and used marker direct to stamp technique to create both colors on the tulips. I stamped happy easter on a piece of WW and punched it out with the small oval punch and put it on top of a cameo coral large oval punch. I added a piece of kiwi kiss satin ribbon to finish off the card, and waaalaaa a cute easter card ready to send to someone special.

A Kind Word

I just love this new set, this little girl is just so sweet. First I stamped the image on water color paper and used various colors of ink pads to color in the image. I used bordering blue for the card and Candy Lane and Bella Birds DSP. I also used neutral brads (chocolate chip) and the valet ribbon bundle, this was a very simple card to make and I just love the coloring.

Thoughts and Prayers Easter

Tonight I took a break from the chick and used the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set, I used a piece of WW as the base and covered it with a piece of embossed baha breeze CS. Then I cut out a piece of pink pirouette and used the eyelet border punch across the bottom. The flower accents are from flower fusion too and one white brad. To stamp the image I used markers right on the stamp, I used old olive, bashful blue and pretty in pink. Then I added a dot of crystal effects on each flower just for a little shine. Hope you enjoy.

A Good Egg

Tonight I made another Easter Card, this chick is just so darn cute, I started with a pink piroette base and added a sheet of Bella Rose DSP. Next I cut two mat's of WW, and a mat of Pink Piroett. I stamped the chick on So saffron CS and cut him out, then I stamped the shell on a piece of Candy Lane DSP and cut it out and added a dimentional to make it pop. I used a piece of Kiwi Kiss ribbon and the small and large oval punches for the happy easter sentiment, I also paper pierced around the WW card stock to add a few more dots.

Another Good Egg

Tonight I made another card using the "a Good Egg" stamp set. This card uses the egg image from that stamp set and the stamp for the crack. I started with a Certainly Celery base and layered pretty in pink (embossed with the big shot) and a piece of the Delicate Dot DSP from (SAB) I added a piece of whisper white punched with the eyelet border punch. The egg is stamped and cut out of a piece of DSP from Candy Lane. I cut out the cuts on the egg from Certainly Celery and added three certainly celery brads, and to finish a piece of Certainly Celery ribbon from the SAB bundle. Seems like alot but very easy to put together.

A Good Egg

Sweet Little One

I made this cute baby card using Stampin' Up Punches, and a sizzix die. I took the scallop circle punch in pink pirouette and cut it in half then cut one half in half. Next I used the eyelet border punch and attached it to the top of the bottom scallop. I used two circle punches for the wheels, and I took a piece from the swirls scribble die to make the handle. I really love how it turned out and I know that the new Mom is going to love it.

Polka Dot Punches

Polka Dot Punches has endless possibilities, this card I stamped the flower twice and cut it out and put it in the center of three flowers from the pretties kit, in the middle I placed a half pearl also from the pretties kit. I used a piece of bashful blue and a piece of Delicate Dots DSP. The "for you" is from the Fresh Cuts stamp set. I really am enjoying this set, I have so many other ideas to share with all of you.

Tonight I finished making these cute top note gift bags for my Daughter's teacher's. She loved the first one so much she had me make six of them for her favorite teachers at her elementary school and some for her favorite teachers at the day care center. They are so easy I didn't have any problem with it.

Another Good Friend

Tonight I started to use another stamp set and came back to this one again, this bird is just way to cute, this time I used the green mircro beads, I haven't used the micro beads before, very easy with a great effect. Tomorrow is the open house I can't wait to show off all the great new sets in the Spring and Summer Catalog and the new sets in the Sale a Bration mini.

I made a 3 x6 card using Delicate Dotes Designer Paper, Chocolate Chip CS for the stems, Certainly Celery ribbon from the ribbon bundle and the Thank you sentiment is from the Fresh Cuts stamp set pg 92 in the Spring and Summer Catalog.

Today I attended my group meeting which is always alot of fun and very very informative it is a great place to get ideas and see new product. I saw a demonstration using the new bigshot embossing plates and a demonstration using the new circle cutter, how cool is this new cutter I really cannot wait to get it.

I am posting my first project to my blog I hope you all like it, these are the valentines my daughter will be taking to her first grade class on valentines day. I used riding hood red CS, cut 4 x8, I scored at 1 1/4, 4 3/4, then at 5 this created the match book, I also used the Love u much stamp set, the birds are just so darn cute.
